The Life of A Double Agent 12The sunlight streamed through the window and hit my face. I groaned and tried to pull up the sheet to cover my face. But I found out I can't move. I opened my eyes and looked down at my hands in surprise. There are shackles which chained my hands to the bed post. What is going on? The pain in my head intensified a bit. My eyes glowed white and I easily slipped out of the cuffs. I rubbed my wrists, seeing the soreness the cuffs made me get. But what I didn't understand was how I got it. The cuffs were loose, not cutting into my skin. Then why are my wrists so red? Unless I have been pulling at them, which I definitely know I hadn't.
"She's awake!" a voice yelled beside me.
I winced, as the voice made my head hurts. I reached up only to realize that my forehead was bandaged, and so was various parts of my body. Hell, I look as if I went into World War Two to battle alone!
"Stay down!" Kid Flash said as he chained my wrists once again to the bed.

I didn't reply. I just raised one of eyebrows and pointedly looked at an invisible watch on my hand.
"Right, you're mute, aren't you? Now you must be wondering how I found you so fast? There is something call TV now little girl!"
And with that he went off in a peal of laughter. Just great. What a bozo I got as my first job. And one that makes bad jokes too. Fun.
"I like you. Yeah, you're young and stuff but you really listen. I like people who listen." He started laughing again. "Not like you have the choice!"
I absentmindedly adjusted my scarf and silently sighed.
"Well, I guess I should get straight to the point. I know, I know, young people can be so impatient." He rolled his eyes and let loose his maniac laughter.
